How to Think in the Language of Wealth,
Putting More of Your Mind into Financial Freedom

After completing a Wealth Plan (or during), begin feeling and acting like a wealthy person. This isn’t about spending. It’s about mental habits and self image.  It's about

  • your language when you are referring to yourself and your financial state
  • the way you walk, feel and carry yourself
  • the way you present yourself (attend to your appearance and environment)
  • the daily decisions to support your growth of wealth rather than draining it into constant anemia.

Pay attention to your language.  It's your most powerful teacher about your default programming. Watch for poverty supporting language and convert it to wealth supporting language.  Examples of Poverty supporting language:

  • That’s out of my reach
  • It’s too hard to juggle all those different accounts and investments and record keeping.
  • Rich people are snobs and they’re...(greedy, cold, etc.)
  • Money is dirty
  • You have to give up too much to be wealthy.
  • It’s impossible
  • Money doesn't grow on trees.

Wealth supporting language...

  • How can I achieve this goal? Who can help me? How can I cross this hurdle? I'll find out how then I will do it.
  • Everything is easy when you know the steps. I’ll learn them.
  • Rich people are a gift to the world. They make many wonderful things possible.  My wealth is a benefit to everyone I touch.
  • Wealth does not diminish me - It's an expanding experience.
  • When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. I’m ready.
  • It’s all possible for me because I say so.

Observe your Habits.
Examples of Poverty supporting habits...

  • Spending all your discretionary time and money in "Feel good" activities and investing too little time and money in building your wealth.
  • Being a perpetual student (but never taking action)
  • QUITTING when the going gets tough or when your efforts seem fruitless.
  • Planning to take the necessary steps "when you have the time."
  • Making excuses for failing to take the steps you need to take.

Wealth supporting habits...

  • Spend some time daily in activities that grow and maintain wealth.
  • Put your ideas, lessons and plans into ACTION.
  • Continually refine your plan until you have one that WORKS.
  • Make wealth building activities one of your priorities rather than an after-thought or a thing to do later.
  • Learn to manage your money in a way that supports wealth rather than poverty.

Your current money management skills and knowledge are supporting your current level of wealth (or lack of).  Don’t just study and research ways to grow wealth for the future, but study and research ways to manage your current finances in a better way.  To help you do that, I highly recommend T. Harv Eker's book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth.

In order to support wealth in both your future and your present, budget your time to include a regular contribution to each of the following

  • Explore and implement new Pathways to greater financial freedom in the future (Also called multiple streams of income).
  • Implement and maintain a better financial management of TODAY’s resources.
  • In every day devote some time to Play and Self regenerating activity.
  • Research and study as needed for all the other activities you use time for.
  • Help others achieve their goals.

If you would like more information about the mind alchemy (changing not-gold to gold) you will want to read the books, How to Create Gold, A Step by Step Method, or How to Claim Your Birthright to Your Dreams.

Wishing you the joyful completion of all your steps to wealth.
